People Together Program
The Arc of Summit and Portage Counties’ People Together program is a one-of-a-kind disability awareness, educational community outreach program presented to students in grades K-12 in the public and private school sectors and to youth and adult community groups on a complimentary basis. Currently in its 27th year, the program was developed to educate and sensitize students and adults within the community to better understand and accept people with developmental disabilities. The program coordinators provide this program to schools and/or community groups on a weekly basis throughout the year. Summit DD provides partial funding for this worthwhile program on a contract basis.

If you would like your school to participate in this life-changing program or to receive additional information, contact Hope Carr, Program Director at The Arc of Summit and Portage Counties, office at 330-836-5863.
