I am the Summit DD - Blake
The Summit DD Board thrives when we improve the attitudes awareness of Summit County residents relative to what people with developmental disabilities can do. The agency uses an aggressive campaign of positive media exposure through PSA’s, engaging the community at public events, and encouraging people with disabilities to openly advocate for community-based supports.
Blake comes to Calico to play and have fun. He is learning new things everyday and he receives the therapies he needs to overcome challenges that his disabilities present to him. He has a twin brother, Gavin, who shares the same disabilities as he does. He has a sister who also attends Calico. Together, they laugh and play with other children, some typically developing like their sister and others who have disabilities just like them.
