Family Support Services Program

The Family Support Service (FSS) program is a locally funded program that provides supports to persons served and their families who may not otherwise be able to access services.  The FSS program is intended to fund services that are therapeutic, and typically include but may not be limited to respite services, home environmental accessibility adaptations and adaptive equipment, copays and deductables for services not covered by insurance.

Families are required to submit an application to determine program eligiblity and a request for each service they would like to be considered for reimbursment through the FSS program.   For more specific information please refer to the 2013 Family Support Services plan, and the 2013 FSS process presentation.  If you have additional questions, please contact Beth Loeffler at 330-634-8810 or you can send questions to fss@summitdd.org.
