UDS Toy & Resource Lending Library
United Disability Services’ toy lending library loans developmental toys and resource materials to preschools, therapists, parents, grandparents, and anyone working with a child from 0-6 years old. Families working with Early Intervention can rent these items free of charge. Check out their website for hours and more information.
Barberton Library
Wee Ones Story Time Join the Barberton Library on Thursdays at 10:30am for stories, songs, and rhymes geared towards children ages birth – 2 years old, followed by playtime with a variety of fun and educational toys.
Cuyahoga Falls Library
Tales Alive Story Time Join the Cuyahoga Falls Library Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday at 10:30am for stories and songs at the library! Each session will include new stories and activities. Stay to play and do a craft. Geared for children ages 2-5.
Week of the Young Child
Join for a free, fun-filled week celebrating young children and their families with hands-on, collaborative activities encouraging movement and healthy lifestyles through music, food, and art. This event is April 6-12 from 11am-3pm. Event is hosted at the Akron Art Museum 1 S. High Street, Akron OH 44308.
Monthly Play Groups
Here at Summit DD we have monthly playgroups where you are invited to join our EI SLPs for a morning of play, language learning, and Q&A. For more information on dates and locations of the playgroup ask your EI team.
