The Law Enforcement Torch Run returns to Summit DD!

What is the Law Enforcement Torch Run? The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is the largest year-round fundraising vehicle benefiting Special Olympics Ohio. The annual intrastate relay and its various fundraising projects aim to raise money and gain awareness for the athletes participating in Special Olympics Ohio. To learn more about the LETR visit The Special Olympics web page.

A number of police departments throughout Ohio, including The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, will be supporting athletes competing in the Ohio Special Olympic by participating in the 2024 Torch Run on June 25th. Cuyahoga Falls Police will be carrying the “Flame of Hope” which will travel throughout Ohio, ending right here at Summit DD! Cuyahoga Falls Police will pass the “Flame of Hope” to Special Olympics Athletes who will cross the finish line at Summit DD to conclude this amazing relay! CFPD is also raising funds for this event – those interested in donating can click here.

All are invited to join the celebration on Tuesday, June 25th from 4 pm – 5 pm right here at Summit DD. Help us cheer on our Special Olympics athletes and thank our local Law Enforcement for supporting the cause!
