Your Impact in 2025
In 2025, Summit DD supported nearly 6,000 people with developmental disabilities across Summit County, an increase of 2.5% from the previous year. These services helped individuals of all ages live, learn, and work in their communities with the support they need to thrive.
From early intervention for infants and toddlers to residential support, day services, and transportation, Summit DD provided, funded, and connected people to a wide range of essential services. Satisfaction remained high, with more than 96% of individuals and families reporting positive experiences.
Levy funding (primarily from local property taxes) made this work possible, directly supporting crucial home and community-based services for people with disabilities. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of 322 employees and thousands of community partners and providers helped deliver this impact.
Beyond disability supports and services, Summit DD strengthened the community through outreach, training, and volunteering. Together, these efforts are building a more inclusive Summit County where people of all abilities can feel welcomed and included.
