With the evolution of inclusive community child care, Summit DD’s CALICO program transitioned its last child into a community child care center.

With integrated child care available throughout the county and Summit DD available to support local child care centers in the community, we no longer needed to operate our own child care center, known as Calico. The Community Partnership for Inclusion program at Summit DD connects families to child care in their own community, where they can learn and play with peers of all abilities.
