Voting Resources
With the election right around the corner, we wanted to share some helpful information that can be used to support people with developmental disabilities who are interested in voting.
This attachment identifies the deadlines for registering to vote, requesting an absentee ballot, and when early in-person voting occurs. In addition, it has some FAQ information if people want to check their registration information and what accommodations those with disabilities can access to ensure they have the opportunity to vote.
Below are links to 3 short videos regarding voting including the remote ballot marking system, and a link to the Summit County Board of Elections. Should you or anyone you know have any questions regarding helping someone vote, we would encourage you to reach out to them.
