Darick’s Marvelous World

Darick’s marvelous world of art is like being transported into a comic book! You’re surrounded by heroes, villains, and whimsical worlds full of fantasy. You can see his passion in every piece. As we all know, Clark Kent has his Superman side. Bruce Wayne has Batman. Darick has his very own alter ego, the Joker. In fact, he created a cosplay costume from scratch and uses the Joker persona to promote his art shows in a fun and edgy way. Rachel: My World In Color

Step into the vibrant world of Rachel, a local Akron artist who’s work is being featured at the Summit Artspace for the very first time. Her dynamic paintings feature mandalas and floral motifs, or as Rachel calls it “a celebration of life.” This exhibition also celebrates the partnership between Summit Artspace and Summit DD to help ensure artists of all abilities have the opportunity to share their work with the world. Elizabeth: An Artist Story

When you walk into Elizabeth’s work space, you’re met with the smell of fresh acrylic paints, a table full of creative clay critters, and a modest smirk from a talented artist. Her personality shows through every art piece, whether it’s a coy fox, a wizard owl, or a dignified bat wearing a top hat. They’re unique, charming and full of character. When asked how long it takes to make each piece, Elizabeth quietly but confidently replied “I don’t know.
