Local partnership focuses on rights of voters with disabilities

On Wed., October 2, more than 50 people gathered in-person and online to learn about rights of voters with disabilities. This sessions was presented in partnership by Summit DD and the League of Women Voters of the Akron Area. Facilitated by LWV volunteer, Leah Holden, the presentation focused on the rights, choices and accommodations that voters with disabilities have to make their voices heard.

This informational session gave participants the opportunity to learn more about voting, ask questions and even the opportunity to register to vote on site.
