Thank you to our generous community for making this year’s Special Olympics fundraiser a record breaking event! We had more spectators, more community raffle donations, and more total funds raised than any other year. The Special Olympics Weaver Warriors defeated the Summit DD Employee Basketball team in a fun, fast-paced game!

Did you know that Summit DD supports more than 400 local Special Olympics athletes each year using local levy tax dollars? The funds help pay for uniforms, travel expenses, coaches and more, so that these athletes can compete in their favorite local sports.
Summit DD is a levy funded government organization that provides and coordinates essential services for more than 5,000 people with developmental disabilities throughout Summit County. Whether it’s early intervention services for a newborn child or retirement services for a senior citizen, Summit DD provides a lifetime of support for those eligible for our services.
