The Kenmore Fox

Back in 1990, Scott Fox started his career at the Kenmore Acme Fresh Market. Nearly 35 years later, he’s still a loyal Acme employee and a local celebrity in the Kenmore community. When asked why he has worked there for so long, he replied “…for the people, for the customers.”

“Scott is such a kind and caring person that anyone feels fortunate to know. He doesn’t know a stranger! When you see him working, you can see how he fills the customers’ day with joy as he knows so many by name and they know him. He is such a part of his community. People love Scott because he is such a genuine person who truly cares about others of all walks of life,” shared Scott’s Summit DD Service and Support Administrator, Julie Foster.

In fact, during this interview an Acme customer approached us and stated with a smile “…there’s Scott! I know a celebrity when I see one!” Scott proudly smiled back and greeted the kind customer.

Scott is not only a legacy Acme employee, but he also has a thriving home life. He is an avid photographer, volunteers at his church food bank, and goes on adventures with his two loving brothers. After nearly 35 years of working, you’d think retirement would be on his mind. “No plans to retire. I like this place,” Scott confidently concluded.
