Nyeeda Beacham, SSA

“I come to Summit DD with over 20 years of experience with providing services in residential, an ICF, day programs, guardianship, and even as an independent provider. For the past 5 years, I served as the Habilitation Coordinator at Echoing Connections in Canal Fulton. At Summit DD, I look forward to bringing my years of experience and passion for the field of working with people with disabilities. On a personal note, I live in Akron with my Husband, Robert, and our 3 daughters – Jaden, Sydney, and Bailey. Our family is active at our church in a variety of departments. I’m crafty so in my spare time I enjoy making balloon décor for parties and events.” – Nyeeda Beacham, SSA

Sara Smith, SSA

“For the past fifteen years, I worked for a local nonprofit community corrections and behavioral health organization. When it comes to joining the Summit DD team, I am excited to be part of the work the agency does. I value helping others feel seen, included, and supported. I’m eager to learn more about the Summit DD world and to play a part in helping people of all abilities reach their full potential. I enjoy finding ways to incorporate fun into daily life. I think it’s important to participate in and help support a positive work culture. In my free time, I like to go on adventures with my husband, Jason. We enjoy hiking and finding new places to explore. I’m also a music lover, craft enthusiast, and trinket collector.” – Sara Smith, SSA

Heidi Crock, SSA

“Most of my career has been in mental health – both community-based and school-based. Most recently, I provided wraparound care a Care Coordinator with the OhioRISE program. I am most excited about working towards Summit DD’s mission of inclusion in the community and joining a close and supportive team! In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband, family, friends, and cat, crafting, gardening, and traveling.” – Heidi Crock, SSA

Kathy Galik, Records Specialist

“I worked for 17 years at Unity Health Network. Twelve of those years as a Medical Secretary and five years as Patient Care Coordinator. Before that, I worked almost 20 years in two different area hospitals. I look forward to being part of this tremendous team at Summit DD and I am excited to learn from all. On a personal level, I like spending time with my 6 grandchildren, shopping, and visiting the Smoky Mountains!” – Kathy Galik, Records Specialist

Aaron Roy, SSA

“In the past, I worked at the Mahoning County Board of DD as an SSA and most recently an Investigative Agent. At Summit DD, I am excited to be working with families and connecting them with community resources. I am looking forward to being a part of a great team. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife, newborn son, and our cat Broccoli. Recently, I have started woodworking as a hobby.” – Aaron Roy, SSA
