Join us in welcoming the newest members of the Summit DD team! Be on the lookout for future job openings on our Careers page.

Sydney Pratt, SSA

“Before joining Summit DD, I worked at Coleman Health Services in the OhioRISE program as the trainer for care coordination services. At Summit DD, I am looking forward to learning new skills and having the opportunity to grow as an employee and as an individual. It has been so nice to have so much support and to be shown so much kindness from everyone here at Summit DD on the first week! In my free time, I enjoy going on walks with my dogs and my fiancé. I do a lot of gluten free baking/cooking and love to try new recipes out! I also enjoy watching crime shows, my favorite is Criminal Minds!” – Sydney Pratt, SSA

Sonya Richards, SSA

“I previously worked for The Salvation Army Summit County Area Services Corps as a Program Director in their Learning Zone. The aspects I look forward to the most at Summit DD are 1) making real, genuine, and lasting differences in the lives of others in my community, and 2) becoming part of a supportive, team-oriented professional family who works towards common goals. In my personal time, I enjoy attending concerts and live performances (orchestra, theater, etc.), reading, watching Naked and Afraid, swimming, doing anything crafty/artistic, eating out at new restaurants, watching movies (not scary ones though!), and traveling.  I’m getting ready to book a cruise for 2026!  Of course I enjoy spending time with my family and loved ones from my hometown in Pennsylvania, but Ohio is slowly but surely feeling more and more like home everyday!” – Sonya Richards, SSA

Celiaann Kulmala, SSA

“Before joining the Summit DD team, I came from Summit County MRSS at Coleman in Akron. I was a crisis case manager. At Summit DD, I am so excited to have a community of people who are encouraging and supportive! I love having an opportunity to learn and grow from my peers. I spend most of my free time with my husband, kids and grandchildren. I am a caregiver for my elderly father so that he can live out his life at home with family. I love to be very crafty making gifts for people and I am a published author. I have two BS degrees in Psychology and Religion.” – Celiaann Kulmala, SSA

Tiffany Braman, Developmental Specialist

“Before coming to Summit DD, I worked at Akron Children’s Hospital and was an Early Intervention Service Coordinator. Before becoming a licensed social worker and starting in early intervention, I worked at a local school district in special education for about six years. At Summit DD, I am looking forward to learning more about my role and early intervention in general, and getting to know families so I can support them in achieving their goals. On a personal level, I have been married for 15 years and have two children who are 10 and 13. I enjoy staying active, traveling, reading, gardening, and cooking.” – Tiffany Braman, Developmental Specialist
