March DD Awareness Month is just around the corner. While a lot has changed since last DD Awareness Month, our desire to shine a light on people of all abilities has not. The pandemic may keep us from gathering, but it can’t keep us from connecting.

INCLUSION DAY - Monday, March 3, 2025

Help us kick-off to National DD Awareness Month with INCLUSION DAY. We celebrate Inclusion Day on the first Monday of March each year by wearing orange - the color of INCLUSION. It's easy to do, just post pics on social media with you and your friends wearing orange (using the hashtag #includeME) to spread the message of inclusion. Don't forget to tag @SummitDD. The best part of Inclusion Day is that you can do it from anywhere!

Summit DD Unveils Renovation Plans, Sells Unused Buildings

(Tallmadge, Ohio) – Summit DD’s Board was the final governing body to approve a Cooperative Agreement between the County of Summit, City of Tallmadge and Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD) for the future use of the Summit DD Tallmadge campus on the corner of SR 91 and Howe Rd. The County of Summit Council and City of Tallmadge Council approved the agreement earlier this month. Read More ›
