Center-Based Programs
Many adults with developmental disabilities, such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, or other disabilities, utilize specialized support to achieve full community inclusion. Summit DD connects adults to a variety of different day programs in the community that offer an engaging activities to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their goals. Through a wide network of quality providers, individuals (including those with complex medical needs) enjoy services that complement their daily activities and offer opportunities to be included in their community.
All providers of center-based services are certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and services are coordinated by Summit DD Service and Support Administrators. Your goals and supports needed to achieve those goals are developed with your team and are included in your Individualized Service Plan (ISP). Should center-based services be the best fit for you, they can also include day support, vocational habilitation or a combination of the two.
Day Support
Individuals in center-based, day programs receive specialized coaching and work on areas such as:

- Vocational skills
- Independent living skills
