Summit DD is proud to participate in the Autism Society of Greater Akron’s (ASGA) signature fundraiser and Autism acceptance event –
Step into Autism!
The Step into Autism Walk and Resource Fair will be Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10 am – 12 pm. The walk will take place in a NEW location in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls! The walk begins and ends at the Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Amphitheater located at 2050 Riverfront Parkway, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Fun fact: Summit DD’s office is located along the walking route – how exciting! For more walk info, including a full schedule of events and parking information, please visit ASGA’s website.
What you can expect:
- Check in at the ASGA table for your Goodie Bag and Streamer. One bag available per family.
- Walk one or two miles as part of the Summit DD Walking Team
- Along your walk route, stop by the Summit DD water station located outside of our administration building for some mid-walk hydration
- Learn about community services and resources at the Resource Fair – be sure to say hi to our crew at Summit DD’s resource table!
- Visit the Inclusioneers Sensory Bus, supported by Summit DD, for a sensory break
- Little ones explore the “Family Game Zone” with games, crafts, and sensory tables.
