Coronavirus and social distancing are making an impact on the lives of many children and adults with disabilities. But you can make a difference by donating vital items they need right now.
We will be collecting needed items for children and adults with disabilities, as well as those who provide services for them.
Please bring any new disinfecting supplies, sanitizers, activities for children, teens or adults (cards, games, bubbles etc.) or new blankets to Summit DD on Thursday April 16 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (Download the full list of needed items here)
To ensure everyone’s health and safety, Summit DD asks that all donation items be placed in a bag and put into the trunk of your vehicle. This will expedite the drive-thru drop-off process and ensure safe social distancing practices. Summit DD volunteers will be on hand to take donation bags from the trunk of each vehicle (using CDC guidelines for social distancing).
Vehicles must enter through the EAST entrance on Howe Road (near the transportation garage) and leave through the WEST exit back onto Howe Road. (All other entrances will be blocked.)
