Monday, March 4, 2024 is Inclusion Day! Grab your orange attire and join Summit DD in painting the county ORANGE to kick off DD Awareness Month and promote community inclusion.

Record Breaking Inclusion Day in 2022

Thank you for making Inclusion Day 2022 a record breaking event! More than 10,000 people joined in the celebration including 8,000+ people who visited the Akron Zoo Inclusion Weekend, 3,000+ inclusion kits were requested, and hundreds of businesses and organizations throughout Summit County wore orange to show their inclusion pride! March DD Awareness Month is just around the corner. While a lot has changed since last DD Awareness Month, our desire to shine a light on people of all abilities has not. The pandemic may keep us from gathering, but it can’t keep us from connecting.
