Meet Marvin. In 1964, he was set to graduate from Woodridge High School. However, after some confusion on a few class credits, he had to stay another year. Throughout his schooling, Marvin experienced unbearable bullying from fellow classmates. And in his final school year, it became too much to bear. So sadly, Marvin never received his diploma. Rachel: My World In Color

Step into the vibrant world of Rachel, a local Akron artist who’s work is being featured at the Summit Artspace for the very first time. Her dynamic paintings feature mandalas and floral motifs, or as Rachel calls it “a celebration of life.” This exhibition also celebrates the partnership between Summit Artspace and Summit DD to help ensure artists of all abilities have the opportunity to share their work with the world.
